I have been working with Marc for over 10 years now. Marc has helped me transform my golf game to a level where I could compete successfully at both a collegiate level and as a professional. I worked with Marc throughout my four year college campaign at Rollins College where I twice earned an All-American Honorable Mention award and an All Sunshine State Conference team member. While with Marc, I also earned playing privileges at the 2004 U.S. Amateur at Wing Foot Golf Club. Marc Spencer first met my son Nicholas when he was 8 years old. Nick was just taking up golf at the time and Marc immediately identified to us that he felt Nick had a lot of potential. Well, my son is now 15 and bause of the time Marc has coached him, Nick is now a plus 1 handicap and one of the best Junior golfers in the nation. Under Marc, Nick has played in 5 US Kids World Championships and has finished in the top 10 in the last three; Nick has also played in the US Kids European Championship in Scotland and finished second. Nicholas currently is a Sophomore at St. Johns Prep in Danvers and has played Varsity golf both years in one of the country's toughest conferences, the Catholic Conference. It is because of Marc's uncanny ability to teach what he knows that has made my son the golfer he is today and hopefully will continue to help him become a division 1 golfer who has aspirations of one day playing on tour. The amazing part of this is Marc's ability to teach a broad range of age groups and abilities. My son has been with Marc now for 7 years and their relationship as player and teacher has grown each and every year which is a testament to Marc's ability to adapt his instructions to various age groups in a way that they can understand his teachings and put them to practical use. We were searching for a highly rated PGA Pro to give lessons to our 13 year old son. In asking around for someone who was particularly good with kids, Marc Spencer’s name came up more than once. Four years later, Marc is a key contributor to Kyle’s impressive golf accomplishments, and a trusted member of the family. Late to the game of golf, I had a 49 handicap for 8 years and was finally determined to improve my game. I figured anyone who could work well with kids could handle women as well, so I started taking lessons from Marc. My instincts served me well. I often tell people he can “talk Paula”, meaning he can explain things to me in a way that I can understand and then apply. No swing the bucket, cast the fishing rod, or any of the other common attempts to teach an athletic move to an un-athletic person. I never felt uncomfortable in my awkwardness, and always left my lesson feeling upbeat. I still have every single card he gave after each lesson, reviewing the key points of that day. My handicap is now a 29. I have won Most Improved Golfer for the 3rd year in a row at our club. I finally broke 100 this year, several times. This is my result from 3 seasons of lessons with Marc. I’m giving myself 2 more years to get to a 20 handicap. I've been working with Marc for about 8 years now and he has taken my golf game to levels I never thought I could have reached.  He has given me the confidence as a player to set higher goals for myself and to keep me aspiring to reach greater heights.  His knowledge surrounding the technicalities of the swing are taught in such a way, which as a player makes it very easy to grasp and understand.  With his help I was awarded the female fall athlete of the year award at Salem High School (Salem, NH).  I won the New Hampshire Women's State Championship in 2009, also setting a course record of a 6 under, 65.  By working with Marc, I obtained a scholarship to Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.  While at school, I won two major tournaments my senior year and was selected to the Sunshine State second team all-conference.  Working with him has been an incredible experience and I would highly recommend Marc to anyone. - Megan Mangone
